Costs

Missions work in South Baja is relatively inexpensive.

Typical costs per person look something like this:
1. Hotel room: $15/day
2. Food: $10/day

Other possible costs:
1. If you drive your own vehicles, be sure to buy Mexican insurance.
2. 15 passenger van rentals from San Diego: approx. $1,000/week, which includes Mexican insurance.
3. Outreach expenses are up to you. We often provide hot dogs & drinks, etc.
4. Construction costs for those involved in building. Those will vary.
5. Gasoline costs vary, depending on range of travel in South Baja.
6. Air travel: some groups may need to fly into San Diego and leave from there.
7. Special day outings: In the Spring, gray whales are in the bay in Guerrero Negro (45 min. north). Tours are about $40.

Costs of staying at La Posada
1. Currently, La Posada can host groups that are willing to sleep on cots in our main building.
2. We do have a full service kitchen and bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers.
3. Groups are asked to provide their own food and drinks. as well as paper plates and cups.
4. Donations to cover the costs of electricity and water are greatly appreciated.
