Evangelism

Language can be a barrier for some churches, but the gospel can be shared in a number of creative ways.

Puppet Shows
1. Puppet shows with pre-recorded Spanish scripts. These can be developed by any Spanish speakers you have in your church, or they can be found online or from other churches. Keep in mind that puppet shows need to keep the attention of kids, so be creative. La Posada has puppets and a puppet stage ready for you to use.

Dramas
2. Dramas are always a very effective way of sharing the gospel message. The Mexican people love dramas, and both adults and children always gather around to see the dramas. An explanation of the drama should be shared, and can be done live or with a pre-recorded tape or cd.

Music
3. Music is effective. Musicians can learn to “sing in Spanish”, even if they don’t understand everything they are singing. There are many Spanish worship resources available online, and Cornerstone can help you with materials if you desire.

Preaching
4. Preaching is always the most potent and impacting method for sharing the Gospel. If you have bi-lingual people in your church, they can translate for the main speakers, or can do it themselves. Pastor Tacho is always available to follow up any drama/music/puppet presentation with a Gospel message. Don’t let the language barrier slow you down.

Sound System
5. A full sound system is available for your group to use. Chairs, stoves, and other equipment is available for your group. Hot dogs and easy meals are often served at these outreaches, and we have the equipment needed to help you.
